City Tailors-Terms & Conditions

1. General 1.1. These terms and conditions govern all services provided by City Tailors, including alterations, repairs, and bespoke tailoring. 1.2. By placing an order with City Tailors, you agree to these terms and conditions. 1.3. City Tailors reserves the right to update these terms without prior notice.

2. Collection & Delivery 2.1. Customers may choose to collect garments from our store or opt for delivery at an additional charge. 2.2. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. 2.3. City Tailors is not responsible for lost or damaged garments once they have been collected or delivered.

3.Clean Garments Policy 3.1. We recommend that all garments brought in for alterations are clean. 3.2. Heavily soiled garments may be refused for alteration at our discretion.

4. Handling of Dirty Garments 4.1. If a garment is deemed too dirty for handling, City Tailors will send it to a dry cleaner at the customer’s expense. 4.2. The customer will be notified before the garment is sent for dry cleaning and will be charged accordingly. 4.3. City Tailors is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the dry-cleaning process.

5. Cancellations & Refunds 5.1. Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund, provided work has not commenced. 5.2. Once work has started, no refunds will be given. 5.3. If an order is completed and the customer is unsatisfied due to an error on our part, we will make necessary adjustments at no additional cost. 5.4. Refunds will not be issued for incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

6. Uncollected Garments 6.1. Garments must be collected within 60 days of the completion date. 6.2. A storage fee may be charged for garments left beyond 60 days. 6.3. After 90 days, uncollected garments may be donated or disposed of at our discretion, and City Tailors will not be liable for any loss.

7. Liability & Damage 7.1. While we take great care in handling garments, City Tailors is not responsible for pre-existing damages or weaknesses in fabrics. 7.2. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our services, our liability is limited to the cost of the alteration service provided.

8. Customer Responsibilities 8.1. Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and clear instructions. 8.2. We advise customers to check all items upon collection or delivery, as complaints must be made within 7 days of receipt. 8.3. City Tailors will not be responsible for any changes in body measurements after an order is placed.

9. Payment Terms 9.1. Full payment is required upon placing an order unless otherwise agreed. 9.2. Payments are accepted via cash, credit/debit card, and online transactions. 9.3. All payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our refund policy.

10. Amendments to Terms 10.1. City Tailors reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. 10.2. The latest version of these terms will be available in-store and on our website.
